Exploring Contortion

Service Description
Level: Beginner to intermediate This workshop is designed for participants who enjoy stretching and are curious about exploring contortion. The focus will be on foundational techniques and beginner-friendly progressions, so it may not be suitable for advanced contortion practitioners already working in very deep ranges (for example chest stands, one-arm handstands, or similar advanced skills). In this session, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of contortion training, combining deeper flexibility work with strength and body awareness. Through mobility drills, active flexibility exercises, and controlled backbend work, you will learn how contortionists safely approach greater ranges of motion. This workshop is ideal for dancers, yoga practitioners, movement enthusiasts, or anyone who enjoys stretching and wants to explore deeper flexibility in a structured and supportive way. To ensure individual guidance and a focused learning environment, the workshop is limited to a small group of participants (6–8 people).
